Helicopter Ball Drop Opportunity

The helicopter ball drop is another way we enable people and organizations to help us achieve our goals. We raise money for the Operation Peer Support Program of the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA). The BVA is an organization of blinded veterans helping blinded veterans. It is a non-profit federal Veterans Service Organization (VSO). The funds raised help support the BVA service program, Operation Peer Support (OPS). OPS provides "connectedness" for visually impaired and war blinded veterans which leads to increased social contact, sense of belonging, sense of self-worth, and access to many sources of support. We hope to make life better for blinded veterans.

Benefitting the Blinded Veterans Association

The Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) is an organization of blinded veterans helping blinded veterans. through our service programs, regional groups, resources, and advocacy before the legislative and executive branches of government, we hope to make life better for blinded veterans.

"The BVA Operation Peer Support program was vital and very important during my recovery and rehabilitation process early on. During military operations in May of 2008, I suffered traumatic injuries to my head which resulted in complete loss of sight. The VA provideded me with the ability to meet other veterans with similar injuries, which in turn helped me build a support network. I would not be where I am today without Operation Peer Support." - SPC Steven C. Baskis (Med. Ret.) Unites States Army
